I started photography, when my Dad gave me one of his old cameras to practice. From the first click I was hooked. The fact that one can never capture the same moment twice and make it your own really spoke to me. Since then, a camera has been surgically attached to my hands. I love the editing and post production too. Playing with lights and shadows, setting the mood and tone of the photograph.

I love experimenting, trying different techniques and testing myself. I am quite ambitious and driven and pushing myself is part of the fun, making for some interesting results. I have always loved shooting from a different perspective. Also my clients prefer that. I love showing the beauty in everything, maybe not in a way most people expect it, but that’s what art is in my opinion: art is meant to make you feel something. That’s what makes it memorable and genuine.

Being authentic in my opinion means you’re in competition with no one, not even with yourself. Creativity isn’t compromised that way and it’s very freeing. All my photos were shot and edited in a way I imagined at that time. Authenticity to me means you work using your mind and imagination and your heart to colour it in.
